Going public in Uzbekistan: milestones, trends and opportunities

With the support of B1 Group and in partnership with the National Agency for Prospective Projects of Uzbekistan (NAPP), BeOne Uzbekistan will be hosting a conference to bring together businesses that are selling or planning to sell their shares to the public through an IPO. The event will be held on 21 May at InterContinental Tashkent and will feature a workshop with a Q&A session and an informal discussion.
The aim of the conference is to explain essential steps to prepare for a successful IPO and to enhance relationships between businesses and regulators during the pre-IPO stage.
Representatives of joint-stock companies, IPO intermediaries, representatives of the Ministry of Economy and Finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the State Assets Management Agency of the Republic of Uzbekistan and Toshkent Republican Stock Exchange are invited to participate.
At the conference, BeOne Uzbekistan and B1 Group experts will provide updates on current IPO readiness requirements and offer insights into emerging trends and opportunities in the IPO market.
Stock exchange experts will offer advice on the listing procedure. The representative of the State Assets Management Agency of the Republic of Uzbekistan will speak about the role of privatization in the stock market development.
Participants will have the chance to attend sessions on Uzbekistan’s capital market to hear success stories and learn about the strategies employed by local companies as they embark on their IPO journey. BeOne Uzbekistan and B1 Group experts will also highlight the tax aspects of IPOs for issuers, as well as share their experience in improving the effectiveness of the tax function of public organizations, corporate governance and motivation of top management and employees in the context of IPOs.
