On 21 May 2026, the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan adopted Resolution № 270, approved the Regulation on the procedure for granting a special tax regime to foreign citizens (“Regulation”) as part of the implementation of Presidential Decree of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. PD-180 dated 4 October 2025.

On 21 April 2026, the new Law “On Limited Liability Companies” (the “Law”) was adopted in the Republic of Uzbekistan providing for a comprehensive revision of corporate regulation of limited liability companies (“LLCs”).

On April 13, 2026, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan signed Resolution No. PP-136 “On measures to create favorable conditions for the further development of e-commerce in the Republic of Uzbekistan.”

On March 30, 2026, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan signed decree no. Up-48 “On the establishment of the Tashkent International Financial Center” (TIFC).

On March 27, 2026, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan signed a law aimed at developing and introducing Islamic banking in the country.

On 26 March 2026, Law No. ZRU-1125 of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On Amendments and Additions to the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan ‘On Personal Data’” was adopted.

In December 2025, the Senate of the Republic of Uzbekistan approved a Law introducing amendments to the tax legislation in line with the tax and budgetary policy.
